Monthly Reflection: February 2025

How often do you check in with yourself to reflect on your progress towards your goals, make improvements and celebrate success?

This year I have started doing 'monthly reviews' where I'll sit down on the last day of the month and ask myself some simple questions that enable me to reflect properly, celebrate success and set new goals for the coming month for The Organised Hour as well as personally.

1. What did I accomplish this month that I am proud of?
2. What lessons did I learn?
3. What would I like to work on next month?

I am guilty of getting caught up running full speed so question one allows me to slow down, reflect and come away feeling content and proud of the progress I have made.

Question two reminds me of what I learnt throughout the month. These might be specific tools or systems or they might be bigger picture.

Here are my personal lessons for February.

1. To not think too much or worry about the future - focus on the present day and what I can control.

2. Small consistent actions every day are key to making progress.

3. I feel my best when I have met my needs each day e.g. healthy food, enough water, good sleep, a safe space, daily exercise, sunshine.

Question three is easy to answer as typically my lessons learnt are what I want to improve on or ensure are incorporated better into my next month.

How do you reflect on what you and you teams have achieved, lessons learnt or insights from the month?
